About Creator Studies
Learn how successful creators grow, make money, and build real businesses
Creator Studies was created to help aspiring and growing creators understand what is actually working in the creator economy. We study successful YouTube and Facebook creators in depth, break down how they built their audiences and businesses, and turn those findings into practical lessons you can use.
Why Creator Studies Exists
Building a successful creator business can look simple from the outside. A creator publishes videos, attracts an audience, gets millions of views, and somehow turns that attention into income. What you usually do not see is everything happening behind the scenes.
Which content helped them grow? How did they find their audience? How often do they publish? What topics work best? How do they make money? Are they relying on advertising, sponsorships, affiliate marketing, memberships, products, services, or several revenue streams at once?
Creator Studies exists to answer those questions.
We research successful creators and break their businesses down into understandable case studies. Instead of looking only at subscriber counts, followers, or viral videos, we look deeper at the strategies and business models behind the numbers.
Our Creator Studies examine how creators attract attention, the types of content they publish, the platforms they use, how their audiences developed, the ways they monetize, and how their creator businesses fit together.
The goal is not to tell you to copy another creator. Every audience, niche, personality, and business is different. The goal is to help you recognize patterns, discover ideas, understand different monetization models, and see possibilities you may not have considered for your own creator business.
Creator Studies is built for people who want to go beyond generic advice like “post consistently” or “build an audience.” We want to show you real examples of creators who have built successful businesses and examine what they actually did to get there.
Whether you are trying to start a YouTube channel, grow an existing Facebook audience, find new ways to monetize your content, or build a larger business around your following, studying what other creators have already accomplished can help you make smarter decisions.
There is no single path to becoming a successful creator. That is exactly what makes studying different creators so useful. One creator may build a business around advertising. Another may earn primarily from sponsorships. Another may use content to sell products, memberships, courses, services, or affiliate offers.
By examining many different creator businesses, Creator Studies helps you see the range of opportunities available and better understand how audience, content, monetization, and business strategy can work together.

About the Founder
Scott Lindsay
Scott Lindsay is an author and lifelong entrepreneur who has started more than 50 businesses and sold 18 of them. He writes about personal finance, business, wealth building, entrepreneurship, and practical decision-making.
With more than 30 years of experience in business and entrepreneurship, Scott has spent much of his career studying how businesses are created, how they make money, and why some business models work better than others.
Creator Studies applies that same business-focused thinking to the creator economy. Rather than looking at creators only as entertainers or social media personalities, the site examines them as entrepreneurs who use content to attract attention, build audiences, create revenue streams, and develop businesses.
Scott’s goal with Creator Studies is to make those business models easier to understand so aspiring and growing creators can learn from real examples, discover new opportunities, and make smarter decisions about how they build and monetize their own audiences.
Creator Studies helps you learn from creators who have already figured out how to turn content into a business.
Study how they grow, understand how they make money, discover the strategies behind their businesses, and use those lessons to build a smarter creator business of your own.
